Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pikpik mobile application ("Pikpik", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using Pikpik you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Pikpik is a photo-decluttering app for iOS. It lets you swipe through your camera roll to mark photos as keep, delete, or favorite, and to delete the ones you chose in bulk through iOS's native delete flow. Pikpik runs on your device. We do not host a server.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pikpik. By using the App you confirm you are at least 13.

3. Permissions

Pikpik needs access to your photo library to function. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Pikpik — the App will stop working until you grant it again.

4. Deletion uses iOS's Recently Deleted album

When you confirm a batch delete inside Pikpik, photos move to iOS's Recently Deleted album where they stay for 30 days before being permanently erased. You can recover them from the Photos app during that 30-day window. Pikpik never bypasses this — every deletion goes through iOS's standard delete flow, including the system confirmation prompt.

You are solely responsible for the decisions you make in the App. We are not liable for photos you choose to delete.

5. Pikpik Pro (auto-renewing subscription)

Pikpik offers an optional paid subscription called "Pikpik Pro" with the following plans:

Auto-renewal. Weekly and Yearly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel during a trial, you keep Pro access for the remainder of the trial period.

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Managing your subscription. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS).

Refunds. All sales are final. Refunds, if any, are at the discretion of Apple. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Any price increase takes effect at the next renewal and Apple will notify you and require explicit consent before billing the new price.

6. Promo codes and offer codes

We may distribute promo codes or App Store offer codes that grant Pro access or extended trials. Promo codes have no cash value, cannot be combined, and expire as stated when issued.

The Pikpik name, logo, copy, and brand are owned by us. The source code is published under the Polyform Noncommercial 1.0.0 license, which allows non-commercial use, study, modification, and contribution. Your photos are yours — we claim no rights to anything in your camera roll.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

PIKPIK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA (INCLUDING DELETED PHOTOS), PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the App is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, or USD $20, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability — in those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You can stop using Pikpik at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

14. Apple's standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of Pikpik is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where the two conflict, Apple's EULA controls for App Store distribution matters.
